The Next Big Thing

Sarah is here! She arrived June 30, and Doug and I found a new ping-pong companion. We played the rotation thing, of course, which isn't easy with 3 people.

Doug left this morning, July 1, at 7 am, bound for NYC to spend time with Lindsay. Sarah and I managed to catch the 9:15 bus to Dublin, and started behaving like tourists, hitting every gift and souvenir shop, and feeling overwhelmed by all the things we were trying to see. We went to the PO, Trinity College campus, National Library + Yeats exhibit, Temple Bar, and stopped at IFI for a movie, Incendies, just to sit down for a couple of hours. Then we ate dinner at the Gourmet Hamburger place in Temple Bar. After that we stopped at a pub where we saw Irish dancing, then caught the 9 pm bus home.

Now we're tired but ready to do it all again tomorrow.
