Hop On Hop Off

Saturday in Dublin, Sarah and I have purchased tickets for the Hop On Hop Off Bus. We hopped off at Dublin Castle/Chester Beatty Library, but the castle interior was being remodeled. We had a big breakfast at the Kingfisher on Parnell Street, walked for miles looking for this and that, especially an art sale on Thomas Street, then took in Potiche at the IFI just to be able to sit down for a couple of hours.

In our wanderings we walked into the most beautiful church on Thomas Street. Gorgeous! And the church bells were all ringing quite beautifully. On the map this area is called the Cathedral Area.

We looked in at Christchurch, where we reconnected with the Hop On bus, which took us back into City Centre at rush hour. The bus was barely moving, so we got off at the Liffey.

We walked to Cafe En Seine for wine and chicken wings, then caught the 9 pm bus home. We had an extra glass of wine in the back yard while listening to the CD Sarah brought me for my birthday gift. Nice music!

Today went by very quickly. I enjoyed it very much, and it's so nice to have Sarah here.
